Atv overhaul and repair on an insurance claim: Top notch job. Helpful, informed staff! The did a last- minute fix on my atv years ago that saved my weekend. A great community business.
We recently purchased a new Godfrey Sweetwater Pontoon at Dunfords. Yogi was our sales rep. Amazing experience and learned so much from him. Excellent customer service as they made the transaction seamless. Highly recommend Yogi and the sales and service team for your next watercraft purchase. I don’t normally post reviews but felt this was well deserved.
Fantastic service and sales team (Yogi and Phil) are awesome to deal with and both are exceptionally knowledgeable about their products. A Very well run dealership that focuses on the customer even after sales. If I could give 10 stars - I would.
Recently purchased a 22 Yamaha Grizzly from Yogi/Victoria. They were able to answer any questions I had and made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new toy. Thanks again guys!
I re did and older pontoon boat. I bought a 60 Yamaha from Dunfords. Yogi and the whole crew there did an amazing job installing the motor and finishing the wiring/steering controls. I can say enough about them right from Joel to Yogi. went amazing !!. Thanks everyone
Everyone I spoke to at the store seemed very nice and genuine. Dylan was very helpful with questions that I had, as was their lead tech and one very knowledgable senior member of their team. All too happy to have made my purchase here.
The prices were good. The sales & office people are decent BUT be wary when dealing with management here. I recently made a purchase of a new S/S UTV where I spent over $18,500. One of the stipulations of the sale was that they loan me a trailer to haul my new machine up to Eganville. No problem, the salesman told me. The trip (on Friday afternoon of the Victoria Day long weekend) should have taken two hours but instead turned into a two day nightmare. When I was about 30 minutes from my destination, the left trailer bearing blew and the wheel went flying off trailer, narrowly missing a car coming the other way. I called the salesman about the incident and he said that he would send someone immediately. Five minutes later I get a call from the president of Dunford’s, who started to berate me over the phone, saying that I better fix his trailer and get it back to him asap. Here I am, on a long weekend, in the middle of nowhere on Hwy 41, by myself with a new machine sitting on the side of the road on a trailer that had one wheel, getting a tongue lashing from the "president" who I just gave $18+K to….. Thankfully, later that night, I got a fellow in the area to come and pick up my new UTV, SINCE I wasn’t getting assistance from Dunford’s. I spent the next day (Saturday of the Victoria Day long weekend) from 7.00am to 4.00pm trying to get the trailer fixed. I paid over $210 to get it fixed (mechanic to come out and remove the inside bearing sleeve, install new bearings, new tire installed and a machined collar made by a machinist to keep the wheel on since the nut to hold the tire on was no longer any good). I called &/or went to 16 different stores in the Eganville/Pembroke/Petawawa area, looking for a nut for this trailer, with no luck. On Sunday, as I was returning the trailer, I called the president of Dunford’s and advised him what it took to fix his trailer. He was a bit more apologetic since he admitted that the trailer had been driven quite a lot of kilometers over the past few weeks. I consider myself a fair person so I asked for only $100 since I basically had loan of the trailer. He said that he would mail me a cheque….that was 12 weeks ago. Five weeks ago, I received a call from the president saying that he wasn’t going to pay the $100 because the fender was bent up (due to the wheel coming off). He made it sound like I should pay for the dented fender. I was promised transportation (in the form of a trailer) of my New UTV to my destination as part of the deal and now I am totally responsible for someone else’s malice. All of my friends (even my friend, who bought a boat & motor from Dunford’s a couple of years ago), told me that I should have just left the broken trailer on the side of the road as it had been defective and it wasn't my problem. I’d like to think that I have morals and integrity hence I could not do that. Hindsight. Careful….Price is not everything….obviously!!!
